About The Great Road Trip 2017
Greatness - The Great Lakes Project is pleased to showcase our first Ambassadors - Karey Billyard and Aaron Brody - who will journey along the shores of the Great Lakes from November 6 to December 3, 2017, capturing their beauty through photographs, videos and blog posts. Along the way, they are keen to meet-up with many Great Lakes people to listen to stories, capture meaningful moments and expand the Greatness network.
Karey & Brody are two live-aboard Lake Ontario sailors with can-do spirits and a knack for sharing their passion for the water. Over the last few years, the lake has become their home, in the truest sense of the words. “Lake life challenges us to the core, it inspires us, and ultimately, lake life defines us. We can’t wait to see how others embrace their lives on the Greats.” With the seasons changing, Karey & Brody are keen to pack up the boat and hit the lake-side roads to see their Great Lakes from the flip-coin perspective - experiencing the basin in a cooler, late autumn climate, and from the front seat of a pick-up truck! The adventurous spirit remains from helm to highway, and the excitement rolls on for the over 4000kms of road-side exploration and discovery!
