A fresh water source for millions, they are the basis of a huge ecosystem and a vital transportation route for the world. When we walk beside the lakes, we experience the beauty of each one. Seen from above, we can't help but proclaim the wonder of their relationship with one another. We have a duty to protect these waters from being violated by humanity. We must declare that our identity is bound to these lakes, and vow to protect them.
